As a member of a healthcare management team, Dr. Schwartz is focused upon fostering a culture of patient centered care. Dr. Schwartz received his Bachelor of Pharmacy in 1990 from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, and earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999. Dr. Schwartz successfully completed a Podiatric Orthopedic Residency at then Harvard Medical School affiliated Boston Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Schwartz has been continuously licensed as a hospital clinical pharmacist, including Dallas Baylor University and Boston Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Schwartz has served in commissioned roles and was appointed as Volunteer Coordinator for the Rockwall County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office. Dr. Schwartz was responsible for the recruitment, training, and emergency management exercises for local population biologic crisis preparedness, for more than 325 medical and support role volunteers. Dr. Schwartz subsequently served in the Texas State Guard Medical Brigade Headquarters Unit, in Austin, Texas, and has deployed to numerous disaster emergencies including Hurricane Katrina and the Haitian Port-au-Prince 2010 earthquake disaster.

Dr. Schwartz is a culinary and travel enthusiast, and enjoys time with his family and children.
